Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.A.
This writ petition has been filed praying for the following reliefs:-
"(i) issue a writ order or direction in nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned first information report dated 20.6.2021 registered as Case Crime No.110 of 2021, under Sections 147, 148, 153A, 354Kha, 452, 323, 504, 506, 376B, 394, 120B I.P.C. and Section 7 of Criminal Law Amendment Act and Section 3/5(1) of U.P. Ante Religion Conversion Act, 2021, P.S. Colonelganj, District Kanpur Nagar.
(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to arrest the petitioner in Case Crime No.110 of 2021, under Sections 147, 148, 153A, 354Kha, 452, 323, 504, 506, 376B, 394, 120B I.P.C. and Section 7 Criminal Law Amendment Act and Section 3/5(1) U.P. Ante Religion Conversion Act, 2021, P.S. Colonelganj, District Kanpur Nagar."
After the arguments were heard at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner wants to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to apply for anticipatory bail/bail.
Learned A.G.A. has no objection to the aforesaid request of the petitioner.
In view of aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to apply for anticipatory bail/bail as permissible under law and in accordance with law.
It is made clear that we have not expressed any opinion on merits of the case of the petitioner.
