JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention, dated 08.04.2017 in Cr.M.P.No14 of 2017, detaining him as "Goonda", as contemplated under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of dangerous activities of Boot leggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum-grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982).
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1856 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 14.06.2017, and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, the petition is dismissed.
