The sole submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that a direction be issued to the Presiding Officer, Land Acquisition Rehabilitation & Reorganisation Authority, Meerut before whom the Land Acquisition Reference No.43/92/9/2019 (Old L.A. Reference No. 43 of 1992) is pending, to decide the same within a specified time frame.
Sri Bhupeshwar Dayal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.3 has no objection to the same.
Accordingly and having regard to the fact that the proceedings are pending since the year 1992, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the fourth respondent to ensure speedy disposal of the case by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments.
