Heard Shri Parvesh Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2.
Present petition has been filed for the following prayer:
"(i) Issue suitable direction to the Tehsildar, Tehsil Handia, District Prayagraj to decide the mutation Case No.118/660/64/133/252 of 2013 (Smt. Rajkumari and another vs. Harishankar and others) filed by the petitioner, under Section 34 of L.R. Act, related to Mauja Dharupur, Tehsil Handia, District Prayagraj, expeditiously within certain stipulated of time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
Contention of the counsel for the petitioners is that the mutation application is pending before the respondent No.2 since 2013 and despite the said fact it has not been decided till date.
In view of the above, respondent No.2 is directed to decide the same expeditiously preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order in accordance with law after hearing the respondent Nos. 3 to 9.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
