Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following among other relief:-
"(I) to issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent Tehsildar, Tehsil- Handia, District-Allahabad to decide/ consider the Case NO-00597/2018, Computer case No. T201802030400597 (Smt Raj Kumari Vs. Dhaniram) under section 35 of U.P Revenue Code 2006, Pargana & Tehsil- Handia, District-Allahabad, in accordance with law, as expediously as possible and preferably within very short period."
The petitioner is aggrieved on account of pendency of a mutation application filed in the year 2018 which has not been decided till date.
In view of the above, without entering into the merits of the controversy between the parties, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 2, Tehsildar, Handia Allahabad to consider and decide the mutation application expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
