This writ petition arises out of certain proceedings which were undergone before the Mutation Court.
Learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that the High Court may not interfere in the orders passed by the Mutation Courts as the Mutation Courts do not decide any substantive title.
There is a Revision pending between the parties before the Deputy Directory of Consolidation which was filed on 19.7.1991. Both the parties agree that the title would become clear upon the decision of the Revision.
Under such circumstances, no interference is being made in this writ petition. However, the Deputy Director of Consolidation is directed to make an effort to decide the Revision filed on 19.7.1991 within a period of six months from the date of production of a copy of this order. The copy of this order would be duly certified by the petitioners' counsel.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
