Heard learned counsel for the appellant on the point of admission and perused the impugned judgment and order.
This criminal appeal has been filed by the accused-appellant against the judgment and order dated 14.6.2010, passed by the learned Special Judge/SC/ST Act, Unnao in Sessions Trial No. 227/2008 (crime no. 457/2008); State Versus Raj Kumar @ Raja Savita under Sections 328 IPC & 3 (2) (V) S.C./S.T. Act, Police Station Safipur, District Unnao, whereby the learned Special Judge has held the accused-appellant guilty under Section 328 IPC and has convicted and sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of four years and to pay a fine of Rs. 2000/- with default stipulation.
