1. Heard Sri Vikas Budhwar, learned counsel for petitioner and perused the record.
2. Writ petition is directed against Advertisement No. 2 of 2001 published in daily newspaper “Amar Ujala” on 18.04.2001 in so far as it relates to recruitment through advertisement on three posts of Junior Stenographer. Petitioner was already working and, therefore, he has challenged aforesaid advertisement apprehending his termination. He has also sought a writ of mandamus commanding respondents to regularise services of petitioner on the post of Junior Stenographer.
3. Learned counsel for petitioner confined his challenge to writ petition with regard to regularisation. Hence, I proceed to hear him in respect of prayer no. 3, i.e., relief of regularisation.
4. It could not be disputed that there is no provision under Statute entitling petitioner to claim regularisation and in absence thereof no mandamus can be sought by petitioner to respondents.
5. In view thereof, no effective relief can be granted to petitioner. Dismissed accordingly. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
