Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-Respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he was placed in the waiting list of Selection for Assistant Professor (Sanskrit) pursuant to the advertisement No. 46 of U.P. Higher Education Service Commission.
The petitioner claims that he is number one under O.B.C. category in the waiting list and there is a vacancy in an institution of Munna Lal and Jaynarayan Khemka Girls College, Saharanpur where the petitioner can be adjusted.
The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director, Higher Education to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law, as far as possible, within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
