Heard Sri Sunil Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State respondents.
Learned standing counsel has raised the preliminary objection to the effect that the present writ petition is not maintainable as the petitioner has got alternative remedy to challenge the impugned order by way of filing an appeal under Section 18 of Arms Act 1959 before the Commissioner concerned.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the said fact and submits that he will challenge the impugned order by way of filing an appeal.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
