The applicant submits that the proceedings arising out of Complaint Case No. 2564 of 2015 under Section 138 of The Negotiable Instruments Act, 1981 are to be concluded positively within a period of six months from the date of filing of the complaint.
The order-sheet has been brought on record, which transpires that for some reason or the other, the case has been repeatedly adjourned and the case is proceeded in its snail's pace.
Considering the arguments and the provisions as contained under Section 143(3) of The Negotiable Instruments Act, 1981, it is hereby directed that the court below shall proceed to conclude the proceedings of the aforesaid case within a period of six months from the date of a certified copy of this order.
With the above directions, the application is disposed of.
