(Per : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE A.L.DAVE) By order dated 28/02/2012 passed in Criminal Misc. Application No.2503 of 2012, the applicant has been granted temporary bail for a period of twenty days to arrange the betrothal of his daughter, which expires on 26/03/2012.
Today, party-in-person is present, who states that marriage of his elder daughter is scheduled to be held on 11/04/2012 and therefore to make arrangements of her marriage, he seeks extension of temporary bail for a further period of thirty days. In support of his application, applicant has produced the marriage invitation card.
Heard learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. The cause shown in the application, is found to be genuine. In this set of circumstances we are inclined to entertain this application.
The temporary bail granted by this Court vide order dated 28/02/2012 is therefore extended for a further period of three weeks commencing from 26/03/2012, on the same terms and conditions.
Rule is made absolute to the aforesaid extent.
