This writ petition has been filed with the prayer to decide the representation of petitioner dated 23.04.2021 moved in Case no.D202113160001061/3 (State vs. Raish) under Section 14(1) U.P. Gangster and Social Activities Prevention Act 1986 within stipulated period.
Learned A.G.A. submits that against the said show cause notice, the petitioner has already submitted his reply/objection on 23.04.2021 and the same is attached as Annexure 2 to the writ petition and the same may be decided at the earliest by the Authority concerned.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we dispose off this writ petition asking the authority concerned to decide the objections in accordance with law by a speaking and reasoned order expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months, after affording opportunity to the petitioner, if the case is still pending.
It is made clear that this this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case of the petitioner.
