Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents.
By means of this writ petition the petitioner has come up with the grievance that upon certain complaint, a show cause notice was issued to the petitioner as to why proceedings be not initiated against the petitioner for illegally felling trees in reserve forest and cutting the timbers for sale and a further direction to seal the saw mill of the petitioner. The said notice is dated 19.2.2018.
The petitioner claims that he has furnished his reply/explanation on 1.3.2018. It is further claimed that neither the explanation of the petitioner has been considered nor any order is being passed in spite of petitioner making various representations to various authorities.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.4 to consider the explanation of the petitioner stated to have been filed on Ist March, 2018 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as far as possible, within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is presented before the authority concerned.
