Sri Gaurav Mehrotra, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners made a limited prayer to decide the representation pending with opposite party no.1 i.e. Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj, Government of U.P. Lucknow, which is appended as Annexure-11 and 12 with the writ petition expeditiously within time framed.
Learned counsel for the State has no objection for considering and deciding the representation as prayed by the learned counsel for the petitioners.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
In view of the facts and circumstances of the case and without entering into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with direction that the petitioners may make a fresh representation to the Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj, Government of U.P. Lucknow within ten days from today and if such a representation is made, the opposite party no.1-Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj, Government of U.P. Lucknow shall consider and decide the said representation by passing a detailed and reasoned order in accordance with law within six weeks from the date of production of the certified copy of the this order along with the said representation.
The writ petition is disposed of finally.
