Heard Rahul Sharma, petitioner in person and learned AGA appearing for the State and perused the record.
This petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been preferred by the petitioner with a prayer to direct the Principal Judge, Family Court No.4, Kanpur Nagar to dispose of the Misc.Case no.217 of 2019 (Rahul Sharma vs. Sarita Sharma), under section 340 Cr.P.C. alongwith Case No.1375 of 2016 (Sarita Sharma vs. Rahul Sharma), under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act pending since 10.08.2016, expeditiously.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, the Principal Judge, Family Court No.4, Kanpur Nagar is directed to decide the aforesaid cases expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months fixing short dates, if there is no legal impediment.
It is further directed that the parties shall cooperate in the proceeding and no unnecessary adjournment will be sought/granted.
With the above observations, the application stands disposed of.
