Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents.
The petitioner claims that he is working as a daily wager in the Irrigation Department, Bhadohi.
It is submitted that for two years the petitioner has not been paid his wages. In case the petitioner is working in the department, the wages has to be paid to him for the period that he performed his duties.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the authority concerned, i.e., respondent no.3 that in case the petitioner is on a daily wage basis and has not been paid due wages, the same shall be paid to the petitioner in accordance with law, as far as possible, within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is presented before the authority concerned.
