This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure for having O.P. (G & W) No. 708 of 2014 pending before the Family Court, Kottarakkara transferred to Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram.
2. The petitioner is the wife of the respondent and it is seen from the records that their relationship ran into rough weather. The couple have two children. The elder daughter is aged 16 years and studying for +2 course at Arya Central School, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram and the younger son is aged 7 years and studying in U.K.G. at Thiruvananthapuram.
3. It is pointed out that the respondent instituted O.P. (G& W) No. 708 of 2014 for a declaration that the respondent is the legal guardian of the minor children and for permanent custody of the children.

It is submitted that the petitioner along with the children are residing at Thiruvananthapuram and the petitioner finds it difficult to appear before the court at Kottarakkara on all posting dates. It is also submitted that the children are studying at Thiruvananthapuram and it is prayed that the case pending before Family Court, Kottarakkara may be transferred to Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram.
5. Notice was served on the respondent. He has not opposed the prayer.
In the result, this petition is allowed and O.P. (G & W) No. 708 of 2014 pending before the Family Court, Kottarakkara shall stand transferred to Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram.
