JUDGMENT / ORDER

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent, have filed a joint compromise memo dated 13.04.2017, duly signed by the R.MAHADEVAN, J.
sr petitioner, second respondent and the counsel for the petitioner, in which it is stated that the petitioner and the second respondent have now arrived at a compromise and both of them have decided to settle all their issues among themselves. It is also stated in the joint compromise memo that the second respondent is not willing to pursue the complaint any further.
2. Both the parties are present. Their identities have been verified and they accepted the contents in the joint compromise memo as true and genuine.
3. The joint compromise memo is recorded and the same shall form part of this order. In view of the joint compromise memo, the proceedings in C.C.No.3297 of 2014 pending on the file of IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai against the petitioner, is quashed, and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of in terms of the joint compromise memo. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
