Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that appeal under section 18 of the Arms Act being appeal no. 2187 of 2016 is pending before the respondent No. 2, Commissioner Gorakhpur Region Gorakhpur since 2016 and not being decided.
This petition is finally disposed of directing the respondent aforesaid to decide the aforesaid appeal within period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order by a reasoned and speaking order after hearing the parties in accordance with law.
