Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition inter-alia with the following prayer:-
"a. issue, a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus, directing the Respondent No. 2, to include the name of the petitioner in the final seniority list dated 26/08/2021, of Head Constable Promoted upto 30/06/2016, (for promotion) on the post of Sub-Inspector."
It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is legally entitled for his promotion on the post of Head Constable but till date no decision has been taken in the matter.
On the other hand it is informed by learned Standing Counsel that respondent concerned will consider the same expeditiously.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage itself.
In the facts and circumstances, the petitioner is permitted to make a fresh representation ventilating all his grievances before the respondent no.2 along-with certified copy of this order within a period of one week from today. If such a representation is made, the respondent no.2 is directed to pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law after providing opportunity to all the parties concerned within a further period of three weeks.
With the aforesaid observations, present writ petition is disposed of finally.
It is made clear that this Court has not entered into the merits of the case and thus it is for authority concerned to take a decision independently in accordance with law.
