Petitioner was employed in U.P. Jal Nigam at Sonebhadra and has superannuated on 30.1.2020. Petitioner's grievance is that retiral benefits including gratuity and arrears of ACP alongwith interest accrued thereon have not been paid to the petitioner so far.
Sri Pawan Kumar Mishra, holding brief of Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, appearing on behalf of respondent Jal Nigam submits that all withheld retiral dues shall be paid to petitioner within 4 months.
In the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent authority to petitioner's grievance and to ensure that all withheld retiral benefits are released to the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order.
In case such amount is not paid within the aforesaid period, the petitioner shall also be entitled to payment of interest @ 8% per annum.
