JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner is accused, in Crime No.47 of 2014 of the Kasaragod Excise Range Office for the offences punishable under Secs.8(1) and (2) of the Kerala Abkari Act for alleged possession and transportation of 10 liters of arrack on 07.05.2014, is in custody since then and seeks bail.
2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application.
It is submitted that the petitioner is also involved in Crime No.114 of 2013 for similar offence where he is absconding and final report is filed on 28.04.2014.
3. Having regard to the relevant circumstances and since investigation is not completed, request for bail cannot be allowed at this stage.
The application is dismissed without prejudice to the petitioner moving again after the investigation has progressed.
