It is alleged that petitioner was awarded national award in the year 2012 and by virtue of Government Order dated 30.12.2014, he is entitled to continue in employment till he attains the age of 65 years. It is stated that in respect of petitioner's continuance the matter has been referred to the State Government by the Director of Education on 15.2.2017, but till date no decision in the matter has been taken by the State. Hence, this petition.
Learned Standing Counsel for the State authorities submits that in case claim of the petitioner has not been examined so far, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.
Considering the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.1 to examine claim of the petitioner, consequent upon recommendation made by Director of Education dated 15.2.2017, for grant of extension to continue upto the age of 65 years, in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
