The petitioner seeks the issue of appropriate direction to the respondents to publish the results of the petitioner's 6th semester B.Tech Degree supplementary examination held on 7.5.2014 in the paper “Design and Analysis of Algorithms”. The results of the examination is required by the petitioner before 23.6.2014 so as to enable him to resume training at Mysore in the Infosys Company where he is working as a trainee.
2. The Standing Counsel for the University submits that the supplementary examinations were conducted along with the regular examinations. The schedule of examinations concluded only on 2.6.2014. For completing the process of valuation, checking of marks, tabulation and other formalities, a minimum of three months' time is W.P.(C) No.14369 of 2014 -: 2 :-
required. The counsel assures that the results would be published by 31.8.2014.
In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of recording the undertaking of the counsel for the University that the results of the petitioner would be published before 31.8.2014.
