Rafiksha vs State

This application is preferred by the applicant convict for grant of parole on the ground of preferring an appeal and for appointing an Advocate.

The application is rejected by the competent authority on the ground of adverse opinion received. Besides the applicant convict has been recently convicted under Section 397 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the above aspect, and since no convincing ground appears for exercise of powers, this application is rejected.
