JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is aggrieved with Ext.P1 and P2 notices for recovery of admitted arrears of sales tax. Ext.P1 is issued in the year 2012 and the petitioner contends that he has paid substantial amounts and hence the revised demand has been made by Ext.P2. Going by Ext.P2, an amount of Rs. 4,87,610/- has been demanded. The petitioner shall approach the 1st respondent with a certified copy of this Judgment and the 1st respondent shall indicate the exact amounts due as per the demand as on 30.06.2014, within two weeks from today. the petitioner shall make remittance in six monthly installments starting from 20.07.2014 and followed up on every 20th of the succeeding months. A single WPC.No.15657/2014 : 2 : default shall invite the consequence of revival of recovery proceedings. A further demand shall be raised for future interest, on satisfaction of the above directions which shall be satisfied as the 7th instalment.
Writ petition disposed of as above.
