Heard Shri Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri B.P. Singh Kachhawah, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that his life is in peril and he needs to be protected.
Learned Standing Counsel states that the petitioner may approach the District Level Committee, which has been constituted for the purpose of providing security guards to the necessary persons.
The petitioner has made an application before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Varanasi. The petitioner is knocking at the wrong door.
It is open to the petitioner to approach the District Level Committee for redressal of his grievances. In case, the petitioner makes such an application, his application may be considered and disposed of in accordance with law.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
