JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner submits that the teachers who are senior to him in the institution are untrained and therefore, not possessed of the prescribed minimum qualification for the post of Principal of a recognized Intermediate College as per Appendix 'A' of Chapter II of the Regulations framed under the Intermediate Education Act. Therefore, they can not be appointed as ad hoc Principal under Section 18 of the U.P. Secondary Education Services Selection Board Act, 1982.
Petitioner submits that he being the senior most qualified teacher in the institution has to be appointed as the officiating Principal.
Having heard the parties and examined the record, I am of the opinion that grievance of the petitioner needs immediate attention of the respondent no. 2.
Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a representation ventilating all his grievances before respondent no. 2, within two weeks from today along with a certified copy of this order. On such a representation being made the respondent no. 2 shall call for records and shall pass a reasoned speaking order preferably within two weeks thereafter after affording opportunity of hearing to respondents no. 4 to 8.
