The petitioner is the father of a 14 year old girl, who is an 8th standard student and was found missing from her house on 03.04.2014. On getting information that she was in the illegal custody of the third respondent , the petitioner gave information to the police, who took her in the protective custody and produced before the learned Magistrate concerned. The Magistrate recorded her statement and the statement of her mother. On being satisfied that she is a minor girl, the Magistrate directed her to go with her parents.
2. Pursuant to the direction issued by this Court on 29.04.2014, the girl has now been produced before this Court. We have interacted with the girl and her parents. She has submitted that she was in the custody of the third respondent and she is willing to go with her parents.
3. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the W.P.(Crl.) 181 of 2014 .

4. There is no dispute that the girl is aged only 14 years.
It is submitted by the learned Addl. Director General of Prosecutions that pursuant to the disclosure made by the girl, the police have registered a case for the offences under Sections 366A and 376 of IPC and under Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
5. We are fully satisfied that there has been an honest investigation in the matter and that the police will proceed with the investigation and take appropriate action in the matter. As the girl is willing to go with her parents on her own will, we permit the parents, who are present before this Court to take her along with them. No further direction is necessary in this matter and it is closed.
