----------------------- The petitioner submits that they are the members of the 3rd respondent society. The 3rd respondent society availed a loan from the 2nd respondent bank and committed default. The petitioner submits that revenue recovery proceedings are initiated against them. It is further submitted that they are prepared to settle the entire liability if one time settlement scheme is provided to them.
2. The learned Standing Counsel for the bank submits that they have one time settlement scheme. In view of the above, the petitioner shall approach the 2nd respondent bank within two weeks, offering that they are prepared to settle the liability under one time settlement scheme. Based on such request, the 2nd respondent shall take a decision within a further period of four weeks. Till a decision is taken on the above, all proceedings for recovering the loan amount shall be kept in abeyance.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
