ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to set aside letter No.SE/OP/MDK/SAO/HT/D.No.1230/2014, dated 09.09.2014, of respondent No.2, whereby he has called upon the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.5,25,715/- towards the total amount payable on final settlement.
The grievance of the petitioner is that no details have been furnished by respondent No.2 in support of the said demand; that though representations were made by it on 26.11.2014 and 02.12.2014 to respondent No.3 to furnish such details, so far the same was not responded to by the said respondent; and that the respondents are threatening to disconnect the power supply to its Service Connection for non-payment of the said amount.
In the light of the grievance of the petitioner that the respondents have not supplied the working/calculation sheet and MRI data and no reasons have been assigned for raising the impugned demand, respondent No.3 is directed to supply the necessary details sought for by the petitioner in its representations, dated 2611.2014 and 02.12.2014. The petitioner is left free to avail appropriate remedy, if it is not satisfied with the working/calculation sheet and MRI data to be supplied by respondent No.3. For a period of two weeks from the date of supply of such details by respondent No.3, the power supply to the petitioner’s Service Connection shall not be disconnected for non-payment of the sum of Rs.5,25,715/- as demanded in the impugned letter, dated 09.09.2014.
Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.51411 of 2014 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
