Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
By way of this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed the following prayers:-
"(a) Issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus directing the competent authority/Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition), Kanpur Nagar-respondent no.4 to pass appropriate order on the application dated 07/14.12.2020 and 11.02.2021 of the petitioners in respect of land Gata Nos. 346, 349, 357,350, 355, 163, 175, 122, 329, 224, 333, 347, 156, 158, 147, situate at village-Sullahmai and Gata No. 70, 72, 66, situate at village Chittarpur, Pargana and Tehsil Chhibramau, District Kannauj, within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
The prayer prayed for is not as such which cannot be granted by this Court hence, the same is granted in part.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the application dated 07/14.12.2020 and 11.02.2021 of the petitioners on or before 31.10.2021.
This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case.
