Respondent Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Villupuram, to consider the bail application of the petitioner on merits and dispose of the petition on the same day, if the petitioner surrender before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Villupuram, pending committal in Crime No.887 of 2011 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tirukovilur.

Public Prosecutor ORDER The petitioner, who is an accused in Crime No.887/2011 for the offences under Sections 147, 323, 341, 342, 348, 376, 265 of IPC r/w. 3(1)(XII) of the Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Attrocities) Act, 1989, seeks a direction to the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Villupuram, to consider and dispose of his bail application that will be filed by him under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. on the same day.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioner is prepared to surrender before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Villupuram, there shall be a direction to the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Villupuram, to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioner along with his surrender before that Court, on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders. The petitioner is directed to give advance notice to the Additional Public Prosecutor before the said court. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
