ORDER
The community status claim made by the petitioner is now pending on the file of the Tamil Nadu State Level Scrutiny Committee. The petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the proceedings as expeditiously as possible.
2. The learned Additional Advocate General on instructions submitted that the State Level Scrutiny Community will dispose of the proceedings within a period of eight weeks. The said submission is recorded.
3. We direct the first respondent to dispose of the community status claim made by the petitioner on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
