2. Mr.V.Venkkatasamy, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was functioning as Vice President of Ayendur Village Panchayat and the impugned proceedings were initiated to ascertain the views of the members of the Panchayat to remove petitioner from the post of Vice President. It is further submitted that the term expired in the year 2016 and therefore, the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
