The petitioner filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Subordinate Court, Tambaram to dispose of the Original Petition in H.M.O.P.No.472 of 2013 within a stipulated time.
2. The petitioner filed H.M.O.P.No.472 of 2013 to declare the marriage with the 1st respondent as nullity.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that 1st respondent has already filed her counter and is contesting the matter. Further, the learned counsel submitted that in view of the long pendency of the matter, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Subordinate Court, Tambaram, to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.472 of 2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of.
No costs.
