ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
A short prayer made by the petitioner is that the representation made by the 1st petitioner dated 08.09.2014 for appointment on compassionate grounds be considered.
The 1st petitioner is the wife and the 2nd petitioner is the daughter of the deceased employee R.Venkateshwar Rao, who died in harness. The grievance of the petitioners is that despite several requests, the respondents have not been considering their case to appoint either the 1st petitioner or her daughter the 2nd petitioner on compassionate grounds.
After hearing the learned counsel on either side, without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 08.09.2014 made by the 1st petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds, in accordance with law and Rules in force, within a period of 6 (six) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
