JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2017 and pass orders within a time frame.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made a representation on 09.01.2017 to the respondents and that the 1st respondent had forwarded the representation to the 2nd respondent on 12.01.2017. However, the respondents have not passed any orders so far to rectify the patta.
3. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the respondents 1 & 2 may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2017 and pass orders, after giving notice to all the interested parties, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
