Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2017 and issue patta.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2017, the respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
