Pleader ORDER This writ petition is filed seeking Writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the petitioners name from rowdies list/History sheet concerned in Crime No. 488/2015 on the file of the 4th respondent based on the petitioners' representation dt. 23.12.2016 to the respondents.

On instruction, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the name of the petitioners does not appear in the history sheet, on the file of the respondents. The said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Further, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Crime No.488 of 2015 is pending on the file of the respondents against the petitioners for which their presence is very much required for enquiry.
3. In view of the above submission, to give a quietus to this issue, this Court is inclined to direct the petitioners to appear before the respondent police on 10.03.2017 at 10.30 a.m. On such appearance, the petitioners are directed to furnish their complete postal address to the respondent police. On receipt of the same, the respondent police shall complete the enquiry on the same day. If the petitioners fails to comply with the direction of this court, it is open to the respondent police to take appropriate action against them, in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that for completion of enquiry, the respondent police shall not harass the petitioners.
