THIS CONTEMPT PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, RAVI MALIMATH J., PASSED THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER This contempt petition is filed on the ground that the order dated 06.12.2018 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition No.39048 of 2018 has been disobeyed. In terms of the said order, the respondent No.4 therein was directed to consider the representation of the petitioner. Since, the same was not done, the instant petition is filed.
2. The accused has filed his reply in the Court.
He has tendered his apology for the delay in complywing the order of the learned Single Judge. Learned counsel for the accused on instruction submits that unconditional apology of the accused be accepted, in view of the delay in complying with the order of the learned Single Judge. He has also produced Annexures-R1 to R3 which would indicate consideration of the representation of the petitioner. For the reason assigned, the delay in complying the order of the learned Single Judge is condoned.
3. In view of the compliance of the order passed by the learned Single Judge, we do not find any ground to proceed further.
The proceedings are dropped.
