JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioners have filed the present petition to call for the records and set aside the order dated 15.6.2017 in Crl.M.P.No.156 of 2017 in S.C.No.288 of 2016 passed by the learned XV Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.
R.MAHADEVAN, J., sr 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the learned XV Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, while allowing the petition in Crl.M.P.No.156 of 2017, imposed a condition of payment of Rs.25,000/- before the District Legal Service Authority, Chennai. Since the condition is onerous, the petitioners could not pay the amount. Hence they have filed the present petition seeking for the above relief.
2. Mr.C. Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondent.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed by the learned XV Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.156 of 2017 on payment of Rs.25,000/- is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.5,000/-(Rupees five thousand only) before the District Legal Service Authority, Chennai within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected Crl.M.P is closed.
