Sri.Sundar Raj, Advocate for R2-Absent) This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondent No.1 to release the petitioner’s account by permitting her to operate the account as usual.
This Petition coming on for Preliminary Hearing, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER None for the petitioner.
Sri.Prabhu, learned counsel for respondent No.1.
In this petition, the petitioner inter alia has prayed for the following reliefs:
“a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction, directing the 1st respondent to release the petitioner’s account by permitting her to operate the account as usual;
b) Grant such other relief as this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the fact and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.”
2. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the respondent No.1 has produced a copy of statement of account of the petitioner, which is taken on record. It is further submitted that respondent No.1 has never prevented the petitioner from operating her account, which is evident from the statement of account.
3. The aforesaid submission is taken on record.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
