JUDGMENT / ORDER

The present petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner and his three daughters in repossessing his own property.
2. Though the relief sought for by the petitioner is to provide police protection to the petitioner and his three daughters, the learned counsel for the R. MAHADEVAN.J., sr petitioner confined his relief to the extent of considering the representation of the petitioner and passing orders.
3. Mr.C. Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.
4. Considering the limited prayer, now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the criminal original petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 2.11.2016 after issuing notice to the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with. Such exercise shall be done within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
