JUSTICE R.MAHADEVAN Crl.O.P.No.26765 of 2016 Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent to file a final report for the offences under Sections 420 IPC, 66 and 66(D) ITA Act, 2008 in connection with Crime No.408/2015 on the file of the respondent herein.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that as against one Manimegalai and two others, he has lodged a complaint with the respondent on 24.10.2015 and the same was registered in FIR No.408/2015 for the offences punishable under Section 420 IPC and Sections 66 and 66(D) of the ITA Act, 2008. Though the said complaint was registered in the year 2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.408 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
