ORDER
By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider, dispose of the petitioner's application dated 27.01.2017, for the grant of Contract Carriage Permit, to ply in all roads in the State of Tamil Nadu.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he submitted an application dated 27.01.2017 to the respondent for grant of Contract Carriage Permit and it has been kept pending without action. Hence, she has come up with the present writ petition.
4. Heard both sides.
5. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for in this writ petition without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 27.01.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioners.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
