Sri Sunil Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the Gaon Sabha is present.
The solitary grievance of the petitioner appears to be that proceedings in Case No. T-201814360400109 referable to Section 67(2) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, instituted against the petitioner on the report of Lekhpal, has remained pending before the respondent no. 3 since 2018.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the present petition pending or calling for a counter affidavit.
Without entering into merits of this case, this writ petition is disposed of with the observation that in case the petitioner files a copy of this order before the respondent no. 3, the said authority shall proceed to decide the aforesaid case pending before him since 2018 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order before him, provided the petitioner does not seek any adjournment during that period and shall cooperate in the proceeding.
