Aggrieved by Exhibit P1 order of assessment, the petitioner has preferred Exhibits P2 appeal and P3 petition for stay before the second respondent. The petitioner complains that, no orders have been passed on the said petition, till date. The Government Pleader assures that, Exhibit P3 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed thereon, within a period of one month. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider Exhibit P3 petition for stay and to pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of one month of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. All further proceedings on the basis of Exhibit P4 shall remain stayed in the meantime.
