JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner retired from the service of the 1st respondent Corporation as Inspector with effect from 30-11-2013. Grievance is that the respondents are not taking any steps to disburse the pensionary benefits and pension due to the petitioner, despite repeated requests. The petitioner had submitted Ext.P2 representation before the 2nd respondent, which was also not considered.
2. Learned Standing counsel on instructions submitted that the pension and pensionary benefits due to the petitioner will be settled and paid within a period of one month.
3. The above submission is recorded and the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to take steps to settle the claim for retiral benefits including pension, within a period of one month and to make payment of the monthly pension within the said period.
